This Cookie Policy explains the use of cookies and similar technologies on greximo.gr, their purposes, the providers involved, storage periods and the ways in which visitors can manage their preferences. It applies to visits to this website and should be read together with the Privacy Policy, which provides detailed information about the processing of personal data and individual rights.

2. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files that a website or its service provider stores in a visitor’s browser or device. When a page is loaded again, the browser may send this information back to support website functions, retain preferences or recognise a previously used browser.
Similar technologies include local and session storage, pixels, tags and scripts that store information on a device, access information already stored on it or measure interactions with the website. In this Policy, the term “cookies” also covers these technologies where they perform a similar function.
Session technologies are generally deleted when the session ends. Persistent technologies remain in the browser until their specified expiry date or until the visitor deletes them. The period for which information is stored in the browser is distinct from the period for which a provider may retain information collected through its service.
3. Information associated with visits to the website
Depending on the selected preferences and the features used, the information processed may include technical details about the browser and device, online identifiers, pages viewed, the source and time of a visit, and actions or interactions with website content. This information supports the operation of the website, the retention of preferences, the measurement of traffic and, where applicable, the evaluation of advertising campaigns.
The scope of the information depends on the relevant technology and the choices made in the consent panel. Details of the individual technologies and providers are available in the “Cookie settings” panel before a choice is made and can be reviewed again through the same panel.
4. Categories and purposes
4.1. Strictly necessary technologies
These support essential functions, security, the proper loading of pages and the recording of consent preferences. They are used without prior consent only where they are strictly necessary to transmit an electronic communication or to provide a service expressly requested by the visitor.
4.2. Functional technologies
These support additional preferences and features. Where they are not strictly necessary for a service expressly requested by the visitor, they are activated following consent.
4.3. Statistical technologies
These measure website traffic, page views and interactions with content, and support the assessment and improvement of website performance. Non-essential statistical technologies are activated following consent.
4.4. Advertising technologies
Advertising technologies measure campaigns and, where the relevant service supports it, personalise or optimise advertising. No advertising cookies are included in the current configured cookie list. If such technologies are introduced, their purposes and providers will be disclosed and prior consent obtained before activation.
5. Technologies, providers and retention periods
The services configured for greximo.gr are described below. The technologies used may change when the website or its service providers are updated. The cookie list in the preferences panel provides the individual names, purposes, providers and storage periods. The information reflects the services configured for this website and the providers’ published documentation. A cookie’s lifetime does not, by itself, determine how long the provider retains the information obtained through its service.
5.1. Recording consent preferences
Provider: CookieYes. The consent management service records the visitor’s choices and applies the selected categories. This allows the website to retain preferences between visits and provides a means of reviewing, changing or withdrawing consent. The consent choice is retained for up to 12 months, unless the visitor changes it or deletes the relevant browser data earlier.
5.2. Technical operation of the website
Platform: WordPress. Technical storage may be used to support website functionality, security and browser compatibility. Session storage ordinarily expires when the browser session ends. A technology is treated as strictly necessary only where its actual purpose meets the conditions described in Section 4.1.
5.3. Website traffic measurement
Provider: Google Analytics. The website is configured to use Google’s analytics services to measure visits and interactions with its content. Where the statistical category is enabled, Google may process online identifiers and interaction data in accordance with the applicable service settings and its documentation. Google documents a default cookie lifetime of up to 2 years. Browser restrictions can shorten this period; Chrome, for example, limits it to 400 days. These periods concern storage in the browser and are distinct from Google’s retention of analytics data. Details are available in the preferences panel.
5.4. Additional features and external services
Language translation: GTranslate / Google Translate. The optional translation service is enabled after functional consent. Its language preference is stored for the browser session. Contact links may open external services, such as WhatsApp. Following such a link makes the external service’s own privacy and cookie information relevant to the subsequent visit.
Storage periods may depend on the browser, service settings, repeat visits and subsequent changes made by providers.
6. Choices, consent and withdrawal
On the first visit, the consent panel provides options to accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies or select individual categories. Non-essential categories must not be activated before consent has been given. Scrolling, continuing to browse or simply closing a notice does not constitute consent.
Preferences can be changed or consent withdrawn at any time using the “Cookie settings” button at the beginning of this page. This page is accessible through the “Cookies and settings” link in the website footer. Withdrawal takes effect prospectively and does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before consent was withdrawn. Cookies already stored can also be deleted through the browser settings. Refusing non-essential technologies does not prevent access to the website’s main content, although features that depend on those technologies may be unavailable.
7. Legal basis
The storage of information on, or access to information in, a visitor’s device is governed by Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC and Article 4(5) of Greek Law 3471/2006. As a general rule, non-essential technologies require prior consent based on clear and sufficiently detailed information. The exception concerns technical storage or access necessary for the transmission of a communication or the provision of an information society service expressly requested by the visitor. Further guidance is published by the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.
Where cookies or similar technologies involve the processing of personal data, the applicable legal basis is determined under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation — GDPR). For non-essential statistical and advertising technologies, this is consent under Article 6(1)(a) and Article 7 of the GDPR where consent is required. Consent to the storage of cookies does not displace the other requirements for lawful processing of personal data.
8. Service providers and international transfers
CookieYes provides the consent management service. Google Analytics may receive information when the relevant statistical category is enabled. External providers involved in translation or contact features may process information when those features are used. Hosting and technical support providers may have access to information only to the extent necessary to provide their services.
Some providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Any such transfer must rely on an applicable mechanism under Chapter V of the GDPR, such as an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards under Articles 45–46, unless a derogation under Article 49 applies. Information about the providers and their terms is available in the consent information and their published policies.
9. Browser controls
Browser settings allow cookies to be reviewed, blocked and deleted. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may affect the loading of pages or the operation of particular features. Consent preferences may need to be set again after cookies are deleted, when a different browser is used or when the website is accessed from another device.
10. Privacy Policy and updates
Information about the categories of personal data, processing purposes, individual rights, retention periods and the procedure for submitting a request is provided in the Privacy Policy. Questions concerning cookies or personal data can be sent to office@greximo.com.
GREXIMO reserves the right to update this Policy to reflect changes in the technologies used, service providers or applicable requirements. The current version is published on this page with its last updated date. Where a change requires fresh consent, that consent is obtained through the consent management panel before the relevant technology is activated.
